The house sign arrived today as planned by the courier, and we are absolutely delighted !
Arriving on a sunny day enabled us to see what it would be like in full sun, and the shadows cast by the lettering make it very legible.

Our house signs have arrived amid much excitement and we are delighted with them! I absolutely love the autumn sandstone and I can't wait to see them in situ (maybe this weekend). Also, thanks to your efficient service we are able to keep the builders happy--and hopefully on schedule as they construct my annex (The Orangery) which is attached to my daughter and family's house (Saffron House) where I currently reside.

I am sorry I did not reply earlier but I have had a dreaded virus and not been able to do anything for over a week. Anyway I can't thank you enough for the engraved house sign plaque, when it arrived it was better than I had imagined. I had bought it for my partner David who had just gained planning permission to build a house on our farm; this is why I wanted it for Christmas (it came well in time too.) I just wanted to say your service and quality of workmanship is second to none and if in the future I need anything else I will be back in touch. Many thanks again...

I am writing to say thank you all so much for the Plews Cottage house sign.
Not only did you cope with our prevarications and delays, but you also
had the snow for couriers to contend with. It arrived, I hear, on
Tuesday 21st December and looks absolutely fabulous. Both Lindsey and
Ian are delighted with it and look forward to warmer weather when the
rendering of the house, and the placement of the sign can go ahead!

FONTS FOR HOUSE SIGNS:
These are our favourite fonts for house signs and have been chosen to be particularly suitable for stone engraving.
We can engrave almost any font so if you have a favourite font not shown here please contact me and I will send a draft for your house sign in your preferred font.
These fonts are suitable for any size or style of house sign:
Arial font. One of the great fonts when simplicity and clarity is essential for all sizes of house signs.
Andes Art Deco style font. One of the most elegant of all Art deco fonts but looks fantastic on any type of house signs.
Times font. The classic and stylish font for all types of house signs.
Times BOLD. We use this when we want a Times font to stand out. Perfect font for any type of house sign. Particularly ideal for unpainted incised lettering
Bernhard (Art Nouveau) font. Obviously ideal for art nouveau house signs, but is a beautiful and unusual font for any house sign.
Timpani font and Numbers for all types of house signs.( My Favourite for numbers!)
Quorum font. chunky and bold, Great font where the house name needs to stand out!
Tango font is great for any style of house names. The capitals have attractive features that will enhance your house name.
Dolphin font for all types of house signs. Beautiful light looking font, because of the proportions of this font please ask for a draft before ordering to ensure the layout works!
Flat Brush font. Mimics the style of hand painted lettering, Ideal for modern or avante guarde style house signs.
Black Chancery font. This is a lovely Gothic style font suitable for all types of house signs and any style of engraving.
Celtic font. This font is of course ideal for Celtic style designs but may suit all types of house signs. Please note this font has no capitals!
OzHandicraft font for all types of house signs.
One of the best for Art Deco engravings 'in relief' engraved house signs, also see Andes font above. The numbers are perfect for art deco style signs.
