Stoneengravings was a very small family business. All of the house signs, numbers, plaques and gifts shown in this site were designed manufactured and engraved by Stephen, Marie and Helen Walker here in the beautiful New Forest. We put 40 years of experience and craftsmanship into our range of products and always took great pride in the our work.
We only used the very best Natural stone materials and took great care in choosing the best stones, slates marbles and granite’s for our work.
You can browse the site by: Type of stone, eg, York Stone, Sandstone. Types of Slate: Welsh grey slate, Brazilian grey, Brazilian green etc, or Granite.
You can also search by product categories, House signs or Numbers, Commemorative plaques etc. Or by design styles, Art-Deco or Celtic etc.
All of the photo’s on the site were taken either by us or by our fantastic customers and as you will see that amounts to a lot of photographs! (And a somewhat variable quality. As a stonemason I’m not too bad, as a photographer, not so good! )
