Custom Designs.

A good stone engraver should be able to draw up a custom design to suit your requirements. It may cost a bit more but you will have a truly unique piece of work.

The font was a custom drawn effort!

Chucklars Patch, designed for a lady with fond memories of India. A chucklar is a Shoe repairer. ( if memory serves). hence the old boot motifs which were drawn up by my talented daughter! The font was called “Samarkan” and between the boots an Ohm sign. Engraved in-relief.

Cats Cottage house sign in Black granite, script font and welcome cats motif. Engraved and finished silver. I liked the idea of the kittens climbing all over the “Welcome”.

Crossword Puzzle commemorative plaque. Made to be set in a school garden. It is nice to think of the generations of children looking at this for decades to come. Custom designed York stone. Unique house name sign, The house name carved in-relief in an oval panel. The font used was unusually Chancery allcaps. Using the font this way gives the sign a quirky medieval look that works really well.

York stone 60 cm circle with Appletree motif and African traditional proverb engraved around the rim. This is probably my favourite piece of work. The font is Celtic Hand. This was sited in the gable of the hoouse, you can see a **customers photo of it in place here…**
